Rady Tower

Innovating Care, Elevating Experience

Rady Tower is a premier destination for compassionate care and innovative treatment. Featuring leading-edge technology, this state-of-the-art facility is designed with a singular focus on our patients.

Philanthropy has helped make this possible. In spring 2026, Ernest and Evelyn Rady committed $75 million to Scripps Health to name the tower.

Spanning eight stories and 420,000 square feet, the new tower incorporates the latest in efficient, patient-centered design, including:

  • 96 beds across three medical and surgical floors
  • Nine operating rooms, featuring two robotic and two C-section suites
  • 12 medical and surgical observation bays
  • Comprehensive imaging services, including MRI, CT and ultrasound, with three interventional radiology suites
  • 40 flexible pre- and post-op rooms

For Women and Families

The tower features a comprehensive three-floor women’s center, offering personalized care for mothers and newborns, from routine check-ups to high-risk pregnancies. This comprehensive center includes:

  • 13 private birthing rooms and five antepartum rooms with six spacious birthing rooms offering tubs for pain management and comfort
  • A postpartum floor with private rooms and sitting alcoves with views of a rooftop garden
  • A Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with 24 beds, offering expert care from Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego for newborns in need

Give for Good

There are many ways you can make a lasting impact and give for good, including naming spaces in the new medical office building and third hospital tower. This is your opportunity to leave a legacy that not only improves the health of our community today, but also shapes a healthier, brighter future for generations to come.
